Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 12, 2026

Overview

Dewtrace is a micro-habit tracker built with your privacy in mind. We collect as little data as possible and never sell your information to anyone.

Data We Store

All your habit data (habit names, completion entries, and dates) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, this data is also synced to your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit so it stays in sync across your devices.

Calendar Access

Dewtrace can optionally access your calendar (with your permission) to suggest the best time for your habits based on free blocks in your schedule. Calendar data is read locally and is never transmitted or stored outside your device.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, Dewtrace uses Apple CloudKit to sync your habit data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container, which only you can access. Apple manages the encryption and security of iCloud data under their own privacy policy.

Notifications

Dewtrace can send local notifications to remind you about your habits during free time. These are generated entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services for marketing or tracking.

Data We Do Not Collect

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you use iCloud sync, you can also remove Dewtrace data from iCloud via Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Children's Privacy

Dewtrace does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page with an updated date.
